Our Anesthesiologists

Toronto Sleep Dentistry

The dentists at Bay Street Dental Associates work with a large team of Anesthesiologists and anaesthetists from Humber River Hospital in Toronto.

Providing Comfort When You Need It

With our focus on general anesthesia and sedation, our Toronto dental team knows it's important that there is always a dental Anesthesiologist available to work with our patients.

To this end, we work with over 30 Anesthesiologists, in rotation, so that there's always a professional available for our patients' procedures.

What is an Anesthesiologist?

Anesthesiologists specialize in perioperative care, the development of anaesthetic plans, and the administration of anaesthetics. Our Anesthesiologists will be there for you each step of the way during your dental anesthesia experience.

Training & Education

Anesthesiologists undertake rigorous training and education to become qualified in their field.

After 4 years of medical school, Anesthesiologists complete a one-year internship, followed by a three-year residency. Some anesthesiologists pursue additional years of training in the form of a fellowship.

Our sedation team at Bay Street Dental Associates?

Each of the Anesthesiologists that our general dentists work with is a senior doctor who has been working in the field for many years.

Three Anesthesiologists that we work with most frequently have been head of staff at the anesthesia Department at Humber River Hospital.

Our Anesthesiologists have overseen countless anesthesia procedures, from the planning stages to treatment and recovery.

They will bring their knowledge to bear on every aspect of your case in a way that is supportive of your care.
